Meet the Psephos Team

Irfan Hassan has over 20 years' experience leading complex digital health, AI, innovation and service transformation programmes across healthcare, government and industry. He specialises in medical device regulation for AI and software, with extensive expertise in UK digital health regulation, compliance and regulatory engagement. Irfan spent more than three years as Regulatory Lead for the NHS COVID-19 App, serving on the UKHSA Senior Leadership Team for Psephos from inception through to successful decommissioning.  He has a proven track record of delivering large-scale NIHR, NHS England, Office for Life Sciences and Innovate UK-funded programmes spanning organisational boundaries across health, academia, government and industry.
